The department ofEnglish in Government Sant Rameshwar Gahira Guruji MahavidyalayaBagicha (C.G.) was established in 2007. Ever since theDepartment of English working with the motto of “Persevere – Excel- PromoteQuality” aims to hone the linguistic skills of the second language learners andstrengthen the literary talents of the students opting for English Literature.The students graduating from the Department have distinguished themselves bothin the language and literary studies and have earned laurels for the college bytheir remarkable and outstanding success in different walks of life.

The mission of the Department is to empower students todiscover themselves, to open up newer and newer horizons before them, to enrichtheir existence, and to empower them to advance in life as sensitive,independent, responsible individuals and citizens of India and the world.
